” We arrived at 11am, one hour after the doors opened and already the Show Centre was filled with enthusiastic anglers from all over Ireland and afar. Shortly after we arrived Henry Gilbey was giving a lure fishing demonstration at the casting pool.

Henry is one of our favourite fishing show presenters, also a fishing photographer and writer. Henry writes and photographs for fishing magazine all around the world, has presented four fishing TV series for Discovery and has just seen the launch of his third fishing book. Please visit Henry’s website for more info, and some amazing photos at It was great to see Henry in action in person, and a great display of lure control was enjoyed by the crowd.
