Irish Canal Championships

All Ireland Canal Championships

The National Coarse Fishing Federation of Ireland, All Ireland Canal Championships will take place on the Royal Canal at Enfield, Co Kildare, on April 30th and May 1st.

All anglers are welcome to take part in this event, the longest running series of national championships which attracts anglers from across Ireland and the UK.

Run in association with Royal Enfield CAC, there is an entry fee of €45, with a full payout on the day and a winners trophy up for grabs. The draw for pegs will be held at Mother Hubbard’s, Moyvalley, at 9a.m on the Saturday and fishing is from 11am until 4.30p.m and then from 11a.m until 4p.m on the Sunday.

Under 18’s may compete for the Senior Cup provided they can fish unattended. The Junior All Ireland Canal Championships will take place on May 21st on the Grand Canal at Daingean.
